The first few days were spent in Provo Canyon at a Catherall Reunion. Sorry, no pictures. The next week we were in Herriman and concluded it with Klayte's birthday party. As we watched Klayte "dig in" to his cake, we all thought he was being a little too careful. So, I stood him up in it, which created a wild reaction from his audience, which then scared poor little Klayte,
Which resulted in me wearing the cake.
We then travelled to Roy to be with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, had a little celebration on Klayte's actual birthday,
Experienced more firsts: petting horses,
Riding Grandpa's motorcycle (kidding),
And concluded that week camping (another first) at Smith and Morehouse.
After returning from the snowy mountains, we travelled two blocks to Clinton to finish our trip with Grandpa Nielsen. Firsts experienced at this stop include: first jump on Grandpa's trampoline,
And first time eating slum gully (with mild curry). Mmmmm...
We all experienced a first when we rode the Front Runner to Salt Lake staying long enough to eat at the Gateway only to return in time to drive to Riverton for my friend's wedding reception.
Klayte's firsts not pictured: first wedding reception, first Flowbee cut, and first time in a swimming pool which explains his first life threatening experience. The drive home was great- no accidents- just a couple of heart palpitations as we drove past the site of our accident. Now we are home and slowly unpacking!
