Yes, we are now pet people. We've had several fish but can take care of them by buying supplies at Walmart. We bought a bunny on Saturday. It's (we don't know the gender) name is Perry and it is a Periwinkle Mini Rex (will only grow to be about 4 lbs). It is spotted gray with pink ears and feet. We always knew we would get a small rabbit, but there aren't many dwarf rabbit breeders around, so when we saw some at the pet store, we had to jump on the opportunity. We think this was ideal timing because in a way it is preparing Klayte to share Nate's and my attention. Klayte is having a lot of fun nuzzling and poking. He doesn't really understand how to be gentle and quiet yet, but we are working on it. Perry has been patient but often gets startled. He is doing pretty well at litter training so far. He pees in there but poops everywhere. Luckily it is small and dry.
